This guide, prepared by the INTECO’s Information Security Observatory and available from today on the websites of both organisations (www.inteco.es and www.agpd.es), analyses how this technology works, the types of devices existing nowadays and their main uses and applications.

Likewise, it describes the risks in the workplace as regards security, privacy and data protection, and in the implementation of RFID devices in various fields, as well as the guarantees required to prevent them.
