INTECO, through its Information Security Observatory, presents the Study on Information Security and e-Trust in the field of Local Entities, with the aim of giving an up-to-date view of the state and needs for security and e-Trust in local Spanish state-owned entities.
For the first time in Spain, this study identifies and assesses the main risks to which information and communication systems of the Public Administrations are exposed and it consequently proposes management practices for security and e-Trust, which should be adopted in order to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information for citizens and companies.
In order to carry out this study, the Information Security Observatory has been able to count on the collaboration of the FEMP, the General Coordination Sub-directorate of Technological Resources of the Ministry for Public Administration (MAP) and companies that produce computer security solutions, such as McAfee, Symantec and Trend Micro.
