This new publication offers a rigorous diagnosis of the Spanish households’ computers security state, and establishes a clear reference of the e-confidence level of Internet users.
53.6% of the audited computers are hosting malware in September of 2010, a figure that stays stable during latest months. The more detected kind of code is, again, Trojan kind, with a 38.7% of computers that hosts programs of this kind. After that, again, adware follows with a 27.1%.
Most of Spanish internet users trust the Internet (89.9%). Of them, a 40.4%, recognize trusting the Internet considerably, along with a 6.4% that admit trusting a lot and an additional 43.1% that shows enough trusting level. Besides, 81.5% of polled citizens considers that their computer is reasonably protected, and a 42.5% agrees to confirm that Internet is more secure everyday.
