INTECO's Information Security Observatory publishes the results of the tenth wave of the Study on Information Security and E-confidence in Spanish Households, corresponding to the 3rd quarter of 2009.
The level of malware found on Spanish domestic equipment reached the lowest level ever recorded: in September 2009, 56.2% of computers were infected with some kind of malicious code. This result was obtained after carrying out 16,461 online analyses of the 6,080 computers that make up the household panel.
The report studies in greater depth the security incidents recorded by Spanish Internet users and describes their security situation. It also analyses the level of confidence in the Information Society and identifies the measures most demanded from the Administration.
