The Information Security Observatory of INTECO announces the results of the eleventh edition of the Study on the Information Security and the e-Trust of the Spanish Households, corresponding to the 4th trimester of 2009 and to its annual evolution.
The month of December of 2009 had the annual and historical minimum of malware detection, with 54,7% of infected computers. The year 2009 began with 62,7% and recorded peaks of infection of 65,9% in May. It is the result obtained after the execution of 12.785 online analyses of 5.752 computers that make up the panel.
The report is deepened, with an annual and quarterly perspective, in the security incidences recorded by the Spanish Internet users and describes the situation of security of their computers. Also it analyzes the level of trust in the Information Society and identifies the most demanded measures for the Administration.
