Steganography can be defined as the hiding of information in a covert channel with the purpose of preventing the detection of a hidden message.
With this new article –highly technical, the Observatory intends to make known what stenography means, what techniques it is based on, its applications and its differences from cryptography, without forgetting that with a combination of both it is possible to achieve a very high level of security of information.
