INTECO has obtained four Management Certifications recognizing the quality of the management systems which have been strategically implemented in our.

In 2008, INTECO, which plays a major role in information security policy implementation in Spain, was entrusted by SETSY to promote the SGSI certification among Spanish SMEs. From that moment on, the institute has undertaken the task of certificating and implementing its own SGSI and has become an example to follow in security management.
In November 2010 the institute renewed its ISO 27001:2005 certification for the second time, reaffirming its strategic commitment to continuous improvement.

Having approved the new strategic plan, the Institute expanded its scope with new services offering online courses and consulting services. To achieve the maximum level of customer satisfaction, new management systems were implemented.

In Jun 2010 INTECO obtained the very first UNE 66181:2008 certification recognising the quality of the accessibility courses provided through our online platform. In addition, in December of the same year our quality management system was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification by AENOR.

This alignment between strategy and management culminated, during 2010, in the implementation and certification of an energy management system based on the UNE-EN 16001:2010 standard. Once again, INTECO was at the forefront of good practices standards, in this case, optimising the energy performance of its building and reducing carbon dioxide emissions according to the draft Bill for Sustainable Economy and The Cost Reduction Plans in the Public Administrations.
This policy of implementing standards addressed to ensure adequate management will continue in the future. Our strategic plan lays out specific goals to be achieved in this field, such as compliance with the EFQM model of excellence and CMMi methodologies, which will help INTECO´s services and projects become increasingly international.
